Q:
What made you want to be a musician?
Suzanne: From a very young age I used to write songs in
my head, so I think I was born one. However, my first attempt at putting
a song down was inspired by a school friend who told me I couldn't sing!
I tend to get very dogmatic in proving people wrong and decided I would
prove I could both sing and write. Shortly after, my parents bought
me a guitar for my 13th birthday after the initial present, a pony,
was returned due to incompatibility problems (psych 101, the reason
for my fear of falling!) I am a classically trained pianist, however
I found the guitar much easier to write with as, being self taught,
I had no structure associated with it.
